Attractions à Espírito Santo
The great Brazilian state Espirito Santo is located in a narrow zone between the Atlantic Ocean, between excellent sunny beaches and a mountain, and it’s known as the land of beautiful flowers.
You can navigate your boat traveling along the beaches such as Curva da Jurema in well protected Enseada do Sua. It’s an ideal place for water sport enthusiasts and not far from the vibrant capital of Victoria, with lots of bars, restaurants and a shopping area. If you wish, you can also navigate between islands like Ilha do Boi, with small beaches and luxury accommodations, or Ilha do Frade, known for its famous Castanheiras beach.
Both islands are connected by bridges to the city of Victoria, in case you decide to moor your boat and go exploring the area by road. Although Victoria is the capital, the largest city is Vila Velha. About 1200 kilometers from Espírito Santo, but still belonging to the state, are the islands Trinidad and Martin Vaz.
In Espírito Santo some of the most important ports in whole Brazil are situated. Tourism is organized in routes, depending on what are you looking for: beach, culture or mountain adventure. Some of them are Rota do Verde e das Águas, Rota Caminho dos Immigrants or Rota do Sol e da Moqueca.
