Things to do in Victoria

In Victoria, you can enjoy the wildest excursions and at the same time, the cosmopolitan and vibrant city of Melbourne. You can swim with dolphins in Mornington or see koalas and fairy penguins on Phillip Island. If you drive your boat to Port Phillip Bay you will find the capital located on the Yarra River- a labyrinth of streets, pubs, restaurants and sophisticated boutiques. Museums, theaters, libraries and street performers, all form a part of the great culture of Melbourne. Meyers Place is the center of nightlife and in Swan Hill there’s a great culture of wine and gastronomy. In the case of the Murray River route, you might notice the classic paddle-steamers, follow them with your boat and stop at some of the coastal cities, where you can do hiking, camping, golfing or fishing.

Another interesting option is to stick with your boat to the route of the Great Ocean Road, discovering beaches and forests, but be careful when getting near Bells Beach for the wind causes waves to break strongly against the shore, so it’s not by accident that the surfing town of Torquay is located nearby. Along the route enjoy the waterfalls, rain forests, and the famous Coast of shipwrecks, an ideal place for diving and exploring the sunken ships.

And, if the range of water sports offered is not enough - you can practice skiing and snowboarding in High Country, go fishing, stay in the houseboats or practice cross-country skiing.
