It’s a former district of the Bahamas that corresponds roughly to the current district of South Eleuthera, idyllically located between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is sheltered by a tropical climate, so temperatures are pleasant all year, not lowering more than 20 degrees Celsius in winter nor raising much more than 30 degrees in summer.
